The current economic system is not delivering social good, meeting public needs or preserving and enhancing the environment.
The free market may well have a hidden hand. We think society needs a helping hand. We are looking for alternatives - macro or micro - that serve society and the environment, not simply the financial bottom line.
Enough! is looking for answers. These can be big or they can be small. They can be things that make a difference in your community or to the whole world.
Enough! will run regular competitions, through requests for proposals, that seek out the best of these answers, whatever they may look like, and nurture them in their development. Members of Enough!, everyone committing a £5 a month standing order, will collectively decide which ideas will be supported.
Once chosen, Enough! will raise the necessary financial and social capital to put these ideas into practice.
Commit now - to £5 per month (or €8 or $10) and to a nascent movement to developing alternatives to the profit driven world. And commit to spreading the word. Send this page to your friends, using email or facebook or any of the other plug-ins on pledgebank.
Your financial contribution will establish Enough! and create the architecture needed to manage the competitions and support the best ideas in moving forward and being successful. Once established members will receive regular monthly updates and opportunities to get involved.
